The Startup Coalition has been a leading voice in the UK Fintech policy debate for years. From Open Banking to innovative lending, challenger banks to payments, insure-tech to wealth-tech, we have a packed agenda and want you involved.
We feed into the Government’s work on financial services regulation and have relationships across government, the regulators and broader industry. We sit on the Government’s Smart Data Council, helping to design the future beyond Open Banking. We’ve also published impactful policy reports, and host regular roundtables and dinners with key Fintech stakeholders.
We’ve already seen policy wins, including the changes to the 90 reaunthetication requirement under Open Banking, getting reform of the consumer credit act on the agenda, and the introduction of Smart Data regulation, but we’re just getting started.
Being a Fintech Supporter gets you more deeply involved in our Fintech agenda. You’ll get a weekly rundown of what matters in Fintech policy, support building out your policy function, guidance responding to government and regulatory consultations, and invites to all our Fintech events.
UK Fintechs are world class, and their growth has been the result of innovative regulations over the last decade. We can’t rest on our laurels though, and there’s much to do to ensure we lead the way over the next decade. Get in touch today to get involved.
